Success and Gratitude

November 30, 2008

Thanksgiving weekend

Dear friends,

On this most perfect holiday, let me say thank you to all team members whose participation has made such a difference in this organization.

There is no “I” in team. We all help each other. I hope that you found many opportunities to give thanks and be grateful.

Here are some guidelines for being on the right side of the wealth equation at this most interesting time. Network marketing organizations tend to thrive during a recession. More people than ever before consider business ownership when the security in their job seems to vanish.

To your success.

Daily Tips for Succeeding

It is November, 2008 and we are seeing history be made. By writing your own ticket, you can be among those who look back on this time with gratitude for having made excellent choices for you, your family and those who come to work with you. Getting into the winners circle at this time will be among the most important things you will ever have done, perhaps among your greatest accomplishments.

  1. Keep yourself educated. Find something to read or learn every day. There is no better time than right now to make sure you stay in the leading edge. Being an expert in your field will dramatically increase your chance at success and financial reward. Brian Tracy says that when you train yourself to be among the best in your field, success is all but guaranteed.
  2. Stay on your edge in terms of the kind of material you feed your brain. Garbage-in-garbage-out. Or, conversely, a steady diet that promotes optimism and hope will support your on going efforts to produce results monetarily. Read, watch and listen to positive, encouraging, uplifting material.
  3. More than ever, discipline yourself to focus on where you are going and what you are in the process of creating. Be clear. Hold fast to the images of what you are creating and visit those images throughout the day.
  4. Study those whose success you want to emulate. Pay attention to those who are really making it. Take on the habits of people whose results inspire you. Work like you mean it. Take yourself seriously as you chart your course throughout these days, weeks and months as you build for financial reward.
  5. Get very clear that abundance is attainable with USANA. Every day remind yourself of how people continue to succeed, reaping financial rewards. Know that these rewards can land on you too. Expect that these rewards land on you. Watch the videos on the Media Center of successful people.
  6. Be an emissary of affluence and financial security during these most remarkable times. Do what it takes to be effective in relaying to others the viability of this business model. Double, triple, quadruple your effectiveness and determination in communicating this to others. Be a beacon for those wanting an opportunity like this. Be a messenger.
  7. Visit your vision and your Why daily. Know what you want, what you are willing to do to get there, who is joining you on the journey, and what you are willing to do to assure yourself of the results you and your team deserve. Point yourself forward. Look ahead. Be unshakable in your determination to forge ahead knowing you are on the right path.
  8. Make excuses to pay a little extra attention to your business than you might normally. You can help more people with an extra hour here and there. Simple disciplines repeated over time produce massive results. Never underestimate the power of an extra call here, an extra follow up there.
  9. Prospect up. Given how the value of this business has increased exponentially over the last couple of months, it stands to reason that people with a more sophisticated eye to a good investment will be interested.
  10. There is no better cure for negative emotions than to be proactive. Put yourself in control of your financial fortune. Build wealth and security for your family. Visualize and take action. Know that when you are clear where you are going, your “attraction factor” goes up significantly.
